Sedalia! We are in the midst of many positive changes that will make
Sedalia an even more exciting place to live and visit. I invite you to come and see those changes as the Missouri Pacific Depot is being restored to be used for a multi-modal transportation center and the new streetscape begins to take shape along the Ohio Street corridor. Many changes will be made as a result of the DREAM Initiative for downtown
Sedalia and it will be exciting to see how our historic section comes alive during this time. Opportunities abound for new businesses as Sedalia focuses on growth and economic development.
Fun and adventure await you and your family everywhere you turn in Sedalia. Attend the Missouri State Fair, walk or bike along the scenic Katy Trail, visit the Daum Musuem of Contemporary Art. Just take your time. Relax and enjoy our abundant heritage and historic sites. Stroll through historic downtown Sedalia, explore our amazing railroad background and hear our contribution to American music history – ragtime!
